Welcome to Book Club!
Every month, we read a new book, many of which are selected from lists of banned books or from diverse reading recommendations from across the internet. Everyone is welcome to join and participate! A new book is announced on the first of every month. We each read the book at our own leisure through out the month. Discussion prompts are shared in the Book Club Facebook Group and group members are invited to respond to the prompts and share their own thoughts in the group. On the last Friday of the month, a video discussion by Laura Browne-Lambert is uploaded to the YouTube Channel's Book Club Playlist. Readers are invite to share their own thoughts on the book in the comment section underneath the video. We ask all participants to interact in the Facebook group and the YouTube comments kindly, compassionately, and thoughtfully. Comments that might be read as hurtful will be removed and comments are automatically screened.
You can receive Book Club notifications in a couple ways. By subscribing to the YouTube Channel, you can be notified of recent video uploads for the channel, including Book Club uploads. By becoming a member of the Book Club Facebook Group you can receive Facebook notifications about Book Club activities. You can also add events from our Google Calendar to your personal device. Our Google Calendar includes notifications for the announcement of the current month's Book Club book, Book Club video discussion uploads, our weekly short story and resource uploads, special events, and more. When using our Google Calendar, you can select the events about which you would like to be notified.

For those who have audio-related disabilities or simply a preference for reading content rather than watching it, you can also read the scripts for each video by clicking the file download button associated with your topic of interest.
