"Bookshelves" by Vedikha_Writes
Have you ever wondered what it's like to be a bookshelf before?
They support and they store.
Silently standing by in case we ever needed a book to read,
Or perhaps if we're looking for a recipe in how to make Meade.
Though dust and grime collect on their shelves,
They never shirk their duties,
Nor do they care about themselves.
Always standing by, ready to serve up writers' beauties.
Image Description: A wooden bookshelf holds a small array of used books in the corner of a rustic room. Windows stand on either side with tan, damask curtains tied up to let in the light.
