Summer Events (2026)

Published on 10 June 2026 at 15:52

I'm excited to announce that Underground Bookshelf will be out in the local community this summer!

I've got two events scheduled so far (and working on a third one), so if you happen to be in the area of Boston, MA, USA on the dates below, you're invited to join one (or more) of the events listed below.

Underground Bookshelf will participate in the following programs in summer 2026:

What can you expect at these events?

At the Underground Bookshelf booth, you can:

  • pick out a book to take home from the free secondhand bookshelf,
  • join the one-day writing contest (stories should be 10 words or less),
  • learn more about Underground Bookshelf's virtual and in-person programming,
  • buy buttons, books I've written, or pay-what-you-like bookish art,
  • support the work of Underground Bookshelf through tips.

About Disability Pride at the Museum of Science

In honor of Disability Pride Month (June) the Museum of Science will host a one-day event on July 25th with specially curated programs, live presentations, and community partner activities. Community partner activities will serve similarly to a resource fair with nonprofit organizations and businesses who cater to the disability community present. Some booths will have interactive activities available. This event is included in the price of admission to the museum's Exhibit Halls. More information about this event can be found HERE. Tickets are available HERE.
